EXPIRY RATES RULES
General Information
All charges are determined by the most recent rates provided by Reuters. TraderWorld provides an assortment of asset divisions for its clients: commodities, currencies, stocks and principle indices. Should you like to trade an asset that you cannot find on our platform, please call us or obtain email support via Analyst@TraderWorld.com and we will aim to include that desired asset to our trading Index. Specified below are the expiry rules relevant to all assets according to the asset grade:
Currencies : (Bid + Ask)/2 *
Stocks : (Bid + Ask)/2 *
Commodities : (Bid + Ask)/2 *
Indices: except S&P 500, S&P FUTURE, NIKKEI FUTURE, NASDAQ FUTURE : Last Quote.
S&P 500, S&P FUTURE, NIKKEI FUTURE, NASDAQ FUTURE : (Bid + Ask)/2
Relevant terms used to determine the expiration rate :
Bid - The most recent price proceeding the options expiration time, for trading an asset recited by Reuters.
Ask - The concluding value before the options expiration time, for purchasing an asset quoted by Reuters.
Last Quoted Price - The final price subsequent to the options expiration time that was in fact paid for the asset. (This price may be the same or similar to the bid or the ask prices).
Indices like the FTSE or Dow Jones are determined by the last traded value of all the stocks recorded in the index so consequently, Reuters conceives a last price for the index. A market contributor can only purchase the stocks or Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) they cannot buy the actual index .
Currencies and stocks have estimates of Bid and Ask. For example, with Google and Citigroup stocks there is a price for purchasing the asset as well as a price for trading the asset and so, TraderWorld evaluates the termination price as the mid-price -these amounts to (Bid + Ask)/2.
For more knowledge concerning every individual asset exchanged on the TraderWorld platform together with expiry rules read the Asset Index.
